Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin has surpassed $2 billion in market cap, with $963 million issued on the XRP Ledger and $1.1 billion on Ethereum. The milestone marks significant growth for the token, which launched just last year. Experts said the jump is important given how much network effects and adoption time typically factor into stablecoin growth. XRP price has also jumped more than 25% in the last seven days and it also hit $1.66 before erasing some of the gains.
