ResMed Announces Collaboration With Tyler Reddick, 23XI Racing For Sleep Apnea Awareness

· Nasdaq Market Structure

(RTTNews) - ResMed (RMD), a medical technology company focused on sleep and breathing health, announced Tuesday a collaboration with 23XI Racing and NASCAR Cup Series driver Tyler Reddick aimed at raising awareness of sleep apnea and the importance of diagnosis and treatment.

23XI Racing competes in the NASCAR Cup Series and was founded by former NBA player Michael Jordan and NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin. Notably, NASCAR drivers rely on concentration, physical endurance and rapid decision-making during races.

In the announcement, Reddick, a 13-time NASCAR Cup Series race winner and the 2026 Daytona 500 champion, discussed his experience using ResMed's continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy to manage sleep apnea symptoms and the role sleep plays in his recovery routine.

Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy is a common treatment for sleep apnea that delivers pressurised air through a mask to help keep the airway open during sleep.

Throughout the remainder of the 2026 NASCAR season, ResMed and Reddick plan to share information about sleep health and Reddick's experience with sleep apnea as part of the awareness initiative. In addition, ResMed branding will appear on Reddick's No. 45 Toyota Camry XSE at select NASCAR Cup Series races during the 2026 season.

According to the company, Reddick's experience reflects obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), the most common form of sleep apnea, which affects nearly 1 billion people globally, with more than 80% of cases remaining undiagnosed and untreated.

OSA can affect individuals regardless of age or fitness level. Left untreated, it has been associated with health conditions including cardiovascular disease, stroke and diabetes.

RMD has traded between $180.27 and $286.91 over the past 52 weeks year. The stock closed Monday's trade at $232.45.
