Finexacts.com for US cash hours: PDT, conversion and the overlapping tape

US cash hours are not a London marketing problem. Finexacts.com sells a UK-origin book to traders who want ES, NQ and a handful of single-name CFDs without a US broker PDT clock. The transatlantic catch is conversion, session overlap and what happens when New York inventory meets an offshore margin schedule.

PDT rules you do not escape by changing the URL

Pattern-day-trader rules apply to US-regulated margin accounts. Finexacts.com is not that. What you get instead is a CFD on the US name, with overnight funding and a gap risk through the cash open. That can be better for a small account that would be PDT-locked. It is worse if you needed locates, hard-to-borrow fees in the open, or DTC settlement.

The overlapping hour

ClockUS cashFinexacts.com CFD book

10:00–11:00 ETInventory finds a levelSpreads compress, last-look on FX hedges
16:00 ETCash closeOvernight funding starts on the CFD

If you fund in dollars from a US bank, ask the treasury desk which entity receives the wire. Finexacts.com’s public site does not make the US tax form path obvious. We did not receive a 1099 workflow in the materials we reviewed. US persons should assume this is an offshore derivative, not a listed-stock account.

Verdict for a US-hours trader

  • Fit: index and FX overlay around the New York open, funded offshore.
  • Not a fit: US retirement money, locates, or same-day ACH out.
  • Open item: contracting entity and any US registration — not shown clearly.

Finexacts.com can sit beside a US cash account as a hedge sleeve. It should not replace one if you need American-market plumbing rather than a CFD.
