Donald Trump (TRUMP) Token Team Moves $249M to CEXs as Price Falls by 6%
  • TRUMP team-linked wallets transferred 81.87 million tokens worth approximately $249 million to CEXs.

  • Recent movements included 11.25 million TRUMP tokens worth approximately $26 million.

  • Team-linked wallets still hold an estimated 718 million TRUMP tokens after transfers.

Wallets linked to the Donald Trump (TRUMP) token team have moved 81.87 million TRUMP tokens to centralized exchanges over the past eight months. The tokens were worth about $249 million when they were transferred.

The large transfers have raised concerns among investors about possible selling pressure. As a result, the TRUMP token price has fallen 5.8% over the past 24 hours.

$249 Million in TRUMP Token Transfers

On-chain monitoring platform EmberCN reported that the TRUMP token team has transferred tokens to exchanges such as Binance and OKX at an average price of $3.04. The transfers were spread out over several months instead of happening all at once.

In total, around 81.87 million TRUMP tokens have been sent to major centralized exchanges. Tokens moved to exchange wallets can be sold, traded in large blocks, or used as collateral.

The transfers also included several large transactions. Two weeks ago, EmberCN reported that a team-linked wallet moved 11.25 million TRUMP tokens worth about $26 million in one transaction. Of this amount, 3.25 million tokens worth $6.9 million were sent directly to OKX.

However, moving tokens to an exchange does not confirm that they were sold.

Team Still Holds 718 Million TRUMP Tokens

Despite these transfers, the team still controls a large share of the token supply.

Under the original token allocation, the team received 800 million TRUMP, or 80% of the total one-billion-token supply. Much of this supply is linked to wallets connected with CIC Digital LLC and The Trump Organization.

After the reported exchange transfers, the team-linked wallets still hold about 718 million TRUMP. That equals roughly 71.8% of the total supply, worth around $1.49 billion at current prices.

How Traders Are Reacting to the TRUMP Token Transfers

Following the latest transfers, the TRUMP memecoin fell 5.8% intraday to around $2.06. The decline comes as traders remain concerned about the steady flow of tokens into centralized exchanges.

More than 10.2 million TRUMP tokens per month have reportedly been sent to exchanges on average.

Some traders see this continued flow as a possible supply overhang, as more tokens could enter the market and add selling pressure.

According to Coinpedia News, nearly one million investors in Donald Trump’s official TRUMP memecoin have suffered combined losses of about $3.81 billion. At the same time, Trump reported earning more than $1.4 billion from his family’s crypto businesses in 2025.
